Desert Boot claims its fame
Worn by big artists like The Beatles and Bob Dylan. More recently by Oasis and the Arctic Monkeys. During the past 60 years, the Desert Boot became an icon and reached a cultstatus. Like all fashion must-haves, the Desert Boots had numerous imitations. That´s why Clarks is recalling its claime to fame. Inspired by shoes British soldiers wore in the Egyptian desert during World War II, Nathan Clark designed a simple but masculin shoe. In the Sixties the Desert Boot became popular in the Mod culture in London. Nowadays the shoe is available for men, women and children in different designs and colours.
