Our showroom in Amsterdam
We recently received a lot of super nice new clippings again and we would like to share some of them with you!
These clipings are the result of the work we do. As not all of you might know what we do exactly, we decided to explain a small part of our activities in short. Our offices also act as showrooms in which our clients' products are displayed. Stylists come by every day and use these items for their magazine editorials or celebrity dressing, which then results in the clippings we show you below.
ELLE Netherlands, Blackstone boots
Glossy, TV-host Wendy van Dijk with TOV Essentials bracelet
Libelle, Tosca Blu Shoes
And to make things even easier, we created a special map for some of our best clippings on our brand new Facebook page. So don´t forget to have a look at our page (and to like it) so you will be the first to know everything. Enjoy!

Clarks at Amsterdam Fashion Week
Last Friday young Dutch fashion designers Jacob Kok and .MARLOESBLAAS. showed their A/W 2012 collection on the catwalk of Amsterdam Fashion Week. Shoes of Clarks completed their outfits.
Jacob Kok "Treasure Hunting"
Jacob Kok, winner of the Dutch edition of TV-show Project Catwalk, showed his first collection this Fashion Week that hinted to traditional miners clothing. The tough and rugged shoes complemented his collection well.
.MARLOES BLAAS. "A common silver spoon"
For designer Marloes Blaas this was the fifth collection she presented at Amsterdam Fashion Week. Inspiration was the transformation that took place during the fifties in the Netherlands. She incorporated leather from Clarks´ A/W 12 collection in her designs.
On TV the same night
BNN aired both shows on TV the same night. They interviewed bloggers like Leroy Aznam to talk about the future of fashion blogging. If you missed it, you can watch the item via this link.
The shows were well attended by clients of Clarks, journalists, bloggers and celebrities. In between the shows Clarks also presented its A/W12 collections and X factor winner Rochelle gave a spectacular performance.

New client: hotel Modez
We are proud to present you our newest client: hotel Modez, to be opened in August 2012.
The name `Modez´ is a combination of fashion, design and ArtEZ, the Institute of the Arts in Arnhem. The hotel was designed by architectural firm NEXIT and is situated in Klarendal, Arnhem, which is known as the fashion quarter of the city.
Studio Piet Paris wrote the concept, designed the logo and is responsible for the art direction. Paris asked a number of Dutch fashion designers to design the 20 rooms, many of them studied at the Arnhem Fashion Institute or have a workspace in the city. Besides fashion design, product design also is an important part of the decor of the hotel.
NEXIT has succeeded in creating a contemporary building which hints to the history that characterizes the neighborhood. The hotel consists of a stone front and wooden back building, connected by a glass staircase. Piet Paris asked some established Dutch fashion designers to come up with a concept for a room that informs the visitor about their label. For other rooms he selected designers that work with traditional fashion crafts. "For this project, the art direction is about the balance between the outward manifestations and the intrinsic qualities of fashion design. Hotel Modez relates both to the aesthetic value of fashion and the explanation of the profession." tells Paris.
We will announce the names of the contributing fashion designers in March so keep an eye on our blog for more information and pictures!

NOW Antwerp announces : Serafini shoes celebrates its 80th birthday!
This year Serafini celebrates its 80th birthday. In honour of this anniversary a special edition of the inconic FLAT sneaker will be launched during Pitti Uomo.
Serafini is a family business founded in 1932 and has been so for over 4 generations. At the head of the company stands Fabrizio Serafini.
MAD FOR SERAFINI - BEST SHOEMAKERS
Fabrizio Serafini is continuing his artistic partnership with Achim Lippoth, the German photographer behind the campaigns for the last three seasons. In addition to Fabrizio Serafini himself, the communication project for the launch of the new Spring/Summer 2012 collection and the 80th anniversary celebrations features 8 young people. Nine portraits that describe the handcraftsmanship and care that goes into the products, interpreted by ultra-stylish customer-craftsmen proudly working to produce their SERAFINI shoes. This is an ideal common theme that unites fashion, customers and the company using carefully researched language and a strong advertising impact, which is typical of the brand’s communication.

Scapa spring/summer´12 sneak peek
We don´t want to spoil everything just yet, but the Scapa SS12 images are so pretty, we just had to share some with you.
For next season Scapa has two themes: Tra Sierra and J´adore.
For today we´re covering J´adore, so keep an eye out for the Tra Sierra images later on our blog as well.
The J´adore collection uses bright colours as a tribute to summer. Most sported are fuchsia and turquoise in combination with bold flower and paisley prints.
For women the collection has a feminine, sensual feeling with loose tops and dainty summerdresses.
For men we see a lot of fuschsia, purple and a little bright green here and there. These beautiful colours give another dimension to the summercollection. The shirts with gingham checks are striking and exclusive floral prints can be found on linnen blazers and trousers.
