Man & Mode

Tonight an interesting, mixed crowed joined for the opening of the exhibition Man & Mode at Amsterdam Historisch Museum. The exhibition focuses on men and their clothes in Amsterdam down the centuries. Various areas of the male wardrobe are explored thematically. The suit, underwear, ties, hats, armour and sneakers are all featured.

Six fashion designers – JEROEN VanTUYL, Ivo Mittelmeijer, Huyn Yeu, Sjaak Hullekes, OntFront and NON by KIM – have also been commissioned to produce fantastic outfits for the 21st-century man. Their contributions are shown at the Regentessenkamer. Above you see JEROEN VanTUYL's commissioned work.
